
On April 2, the United States announced the imposition of reciprocal tariffs, and the next day (April 3), it announced a list of product exemptions. On April 3, local time, the White House official website officially released the list, covering nearly a thousand products, including energy products, various minerals, chemicals used in energy and manufacturing, and metals such as steel, aluminum, and copper.
According to the executive order issued by the White House, the following goods will not be subject to "reciprocal tariffs":
1.Food, medicine and humanitarian supplies (pursuant to Section 1702(b) of Title 50 of the United States Code);
2. Goods already subject to Section 232: steel, aluminum, automobiles and parts;
3. Strategic goods: including copper, medicine, semiconductors, and wood;
4. Goods that may be included in Section 232 review in the future;
5.Precious metals (such as gold bars);
6.Energy and critical minerals that are not available in the United States.
