Recently, during the 14th UAE International Investment Summit, UNWTO and UNCTAD jointly hosted a ministerial forum on the theme of "Shaping Tourism Investment Opportunities through Policy Innovation" and jointly issued the "Guiding Principles for Sustainable Tourism Investment".

The "Guiding Principles for Sustainable Tourism Investment" aims to guide policymakers and stakeholders to build a more comprehensive investment framework and guide global tourism investment towards a more sustainable and inclusive future.

The guiding principles have established a groundbreaking framework for policies aimed at attracting sustainable tourism investment and have also planned a roadmap for achieving a series of goals. The relevant principles fully integrate the dimensions of social governance, economic development, social culture and environmental protection, which are interrelated and interact with each other.
