On April 11, the Chinese Embassy in the UAE and the Consulate General in Dubai announced that the UAE has recently adjusted its visa-free policy for Chinese citizens. Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports with a validity period of more than 6 months can enter the UAE without a visa, and the total stay time within 180 days shall not exceed 90 days.
180 days are calculated from the date of first entry. If you stay for 90 consecutive or intermittent days, you should leave the UAE after the expiration and return 180 days after the first entry. If you stay for more than 90 days within 180 days, you will be fined 50AED per day.
The Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the UAE remind Chinese citizens to pay attention to relevant policy adjustments, arrange travel reasonably, and abide by local laws, regulations and customs.
In case of emergency, please call the police and contact the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the UAE in time.
