Fu Xuming said in his speech that deepening China-Africa economic and trade cooperation is an important strategic tool for Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone to build a highland of opening up to the outside world. In 2024, the park's trade with Africa increased by 230% year-on-year, making it the only national-level park in the province to achieve triple-digit growth. The official launch of the China-Africa Cross-Border Trade Platform will help the park further expand its trade scale with Africa and improve its level of opening up to the outside world.

Guo Ning said that the launch of the China-Africa Cross-Border Trade Platform on the eve of the Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is of great significance and far-reaching impact.
