Flannel blankets are warm and comfortable, but they require some care in their use and maintenance.
First Use: A flannel blanket may have a small amount of lint upon first use. This is normal and can be washed on a gentle cycle with a laundry bag, keeping the water temperature below 30°C.
Cleaning: We recommend using a neutral detergent and avoid using bleach to avoid damaging the fibers.
Airing: Air drying is best, avoiding direct sunlight. If tumble drying is necessary, use a low setting.
Ironing: If wrinkles develop, iron with an iron at a low temperature between 30°C and 40°C. Wrinkles will be restored once the surface is dry.
